Hard Working Weekend, Deck Progress Was Made
Besides an awesome 5K training group run with the HWI Team Daybreak on Saturday it was pretty much a deck building weekend. I spent most of the day Saturday completing the deck support base. And on Sunday I was able to get cracking on screwing down the deck board. I completed half the deck. I put the patio furniture on the finished area just to feel a little bit more sense of accomplishment. I was really hoping to get it all finished this weekend but I’ll be plugging away at the second half this week. Hopefully i’ll have it completed by or during next weekend.
Getting Back On The Saddle, With A New App In Tow
After taking a couple of weeks off, after my virtual half marathon, I’m trying to get back into a regular running routine again. Unfortunately, the running app that I’ve been using since I started running is being retired in favor of another app. Now I’ve for a whole new setup that I need to get used to.

Another Monday Run In The Books
I really don’t have much to say about this mornings’ run. I had a solid pace and stayed around my target heart rate. It was a pretty crisp morning but by the half way point I was warned up & trucking along nicely. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #RiverBankRun
