It was a great day for a 5K with the #HWI Team this morning. Great weather, great community, and and awesome and inspiring #WhyIRun from Jason Crottie. #Run4Water #GRMarathon 42° 55.311 N -85° 46.075 W
This morning was a longer interval run, and it it was a lot colder than it has been, thus the frozen beard. It tool me a bit to get going this morning but I fought the urge to go back to bed and got out there and got it done. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #RiverBankRun
I made the mistake of deciding to get my run in after getting home from a weekend away camping. This of course meant doing my run in the middle of the afternoon when the sun was full on and it was hot. #HWI #Run4Water #GRHalfMarathon #Running #Garmin
It’s tough doing long training runs all by yourself, and 15 miles is no joke. I pretty much got my peak pace at around 10 miles. The final 5 miles was quite a struggle at times, and my lap pace times reflected it. It’s hard to imagine that I’m going to need to go another 11.2 miles beyond what I ran today come marathon day. This year has felt way more off than last year. I got it done nonetheless. #HWI #GRMarathon #Run4Water
Tried to push myself to my limit on pace this morning. I’m still not going to win any races but I like seeing where all day physically. Even in spite of my focus being on the physical God was reminding me of why I run, by bringing back memories of those I met in Sierra Leone. #HWI #HessLakeRun #GRMarathon #Run4Water #WhyIRun #SierraLeone
