I took about a week break for recovery after the Groundhog Marathon. Normally I’d start a reverse training following a marathon, but with only 3 months to go before the Riverbank Run I really couldn’t afford the time in order to get a good amount of training in. – These days there is a lot of talk about the less fortunate and especially the oppressed. It’s very clear from Scripture that as Christian’s we are to defend, and stand against the oppression that we see. To be clear, however, any stand that we make needs to follow biblical principles, not the rights that the world has made up. Unfortunately, following biblical principles is not how the world wants Christians to stand against oppression.

Back In The High [Intensity] Life Again

After a brief hiatus on Tuesday, no thanks to a cold and a bad nights rest, I was back out for my early morning run. I really had my butt kicked with a high intensity interval run. I think my only slight advantage was have a previous week of out of the park fast runs. I could sure tell that I had missed a day of running though. Regardless of how tough it might have been it still felt good to be back out running. On Tuesday when I didn’t get out for my run the whole day seemed off. I’m not sure how I’m going to get my Saturday run in with being out of town in a trip to Chicago. We’ll see. #HWI…
