Well, I’ll leave you with this much, I had a wonderful weekend. I’m tired however. I’ve finally gotten everything up for the podcast. I’ll have to get to writing the full story tomorrow night perhaps. Nite!

    As I was looking over the days RSS feeds I came across a news story on Digg by a mother. I just had to think again about this whole business of blogging. Even this past weekend as I looked through the classified ads that Vanessa had saved for me there was an article that talked about the dangers of blogging and trying to get a job.     (John 1:15-28) – One thing that can be confusing wen you are reading through the Scriptures is the fact that the same names are used in more than one context. Here we’re reading the book of John and right at the begin he begins talking about John. The John that is talked about here is actually John the Baptist who, if you read more of the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, & John) you’ll find out is actually Jesus cousin. Now John the Baptist was called by God to go ahead of Jesus and prepare people for his coming. John was a pretty wild looking guy and got pretty riled up when speaking about Jesus coming.     Seeking God’s Direction When Looking Out On The Horizon

      Both my wife an I are going through a low point where neither of us feels we have clear direction on where we are headed. Specifically, where and how we are to be serving. I thought I had some clear direction but a week ago that all seemed to change. I’m finding myself questioning a lot of things right now. It’s difficult to weather the storm when things start to fall apart. One thing is clear though, that no matter where in the journey we find ourselves God is right there to walk with us through it.     Long Day, Long Ride…

    Well, got pulled in a lot of directions at work today. Things were still pretty quite. No one else was around in my department. It sure was a Friday, things got to be rolling pretty well in the break room this morning. This is to be expected when Armin is around on a Friday. It definitely brought back memories of the trip out to the East Coast earlier this summer.

    In short, life, more specific, work. So as it grinds on even later in the evening I just felt I needed to get back to this things called blogging. So obviously the daily anecdotes of my life haven’t made their way to this space in cyber-space much. When life get’s crazy you have to take a hard look at what you are spending your time on.     I Won, I Won…

    Yeah, Dan’s winning streak was finally broken in Settlers, I won the game. It was close, John was one roll away from winning, then he had his longest road taken away. It was downhill from there for him. Getting the longest road gave me the final points needed to win. I didn’t get a post up last night as I was working on getting a blog setup for my sister. Hope this works for her. Well, I need to go warm up the car and get to work. Good day all!
