Haven’t Posted in Awhile…

I haven’t posted in awhile, something I must work on as usual. Seems like these days I’m so terrible with keeping in touch with people. This isn’t the way I’ve wanted it to be. I seem to constantly struggle between holding on to the life I once led and pushing forward with the new life God has given me. As this new year has begun I’ve had some opportunities to reflect on my life, and how God has changed it in a huge way. A little over a year ago I would have never guessed that within the next year God would bring an amazing woman into my life and lead me to change almost my entire life.

God is so good, and faithful beyond anything we can imagine. I’m always reminded of how amazing God is. He never ceases to amaze me. Reading this morning about the God’s omniscience makes me so comforted to have my life in His hands. If I tried to do my life all on my own I’d be a wandering fool, but with God leading my life in so many ways it gives me great peace.

Well, I’ve have to post a bit more when I get some more time. It’s going to be a crazy day today I think. For anyone that might be glancing over this, please pray for Vanessa as she has once again gotten a case of the flu. Being sick is really wearing on her. Thanks!

    Showing Love, Not Demanding A Life Lived Under The Law

    This morning it hit me, during my devotion time, how so many of us that claim to follow Christ get caught up demanding others, and ourselves, live under the law as a measure of whether you are a Christ follower. Our world is in disarray. As the church we need to embrace our world in love just as Christ showed the whole world. How we easily forget that Christ died for us while we’re still sinners. How then can we not follow his example and show that kind of love to our world?

    I happy to say that the dancing seems to be going really well. We had our first class last night and we even got a little practice in tonight. Actually, funny enough Vanessa gave me a call tonight right as I was trying to work out some of the dance moves myself. She came over to my place to join me in some practicing. We had so much fun just working on the steps and laughing with each other. I really can’t help but smile as I look into Vanessa eyes as I lead her while we dance.     Major Catch-Up Coming…

    Ok, so I’ve been pretty out of it blog-wise the past week. It’s not so much an issue of not wanting to blog. It’s just an issue of having the right time to do it. I’m thinking I’m going to work in a good chunk of time tomorrow to catch up on everything that’s been going on. I think my problem too is that I really like doing my post right before I go to bed. This is good and bad as my day is done but I usually spend a good chunk of time writing and don’t get to bed as soon as I really need to.     Another Quick One…If That’s Possible

    Well, the goal here is to keep it short so I can get to bed. So today was a pretty good day. I really feel like I got some things done at work. I’ve been getting some very encouraging words from many, I thank you all again. As I’ve thought even more about this topic of relationships I’m finding myself torn on a fine line between expecting God to do all the work and taking it all into my own hands. I think a big issue is motivation. While it’s not bad to look elsewhere for social interact, thinking about not having much for single people to hang out with, my motivation is to find my future wife. This really needs to be left to…

    So it’s been an ok day. Even though I didn’t have the time to post about my morning devotions I did ge them in before I headed off to work. Here’s hoping I can post tomorrow morning. The battle rages on against the night. So I had a meeting with On Deman Graphics in Fergus about a website job. They’ve got their own graphics people to work on the design aspects, they just need a programmer to make it happen on the web. Initially it looks to be a fairly small site, it’ll have a few different programming aspects, but it also looks to be an on going job. I’m not sure how I feel about this. The extra money is great but it’s nice…
