    Seeing The Light…

    Since I’m still up, oh boy, let’s get a quick post in. Well, I’ll have to say that I’m beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I’ve got only one project I’ll be working on this week. I’m hoping to have that finished up by weeks end. The next step will be to take a break and just be social. I had a good time tonight visiting with some friends that were in town.     Another Good Day…But I’m Tired

    Ok, I’m straining to keep my eyes open here. I’m going to have to make this a quick one if I can. I got up this morning only to find I was out of grits. Yeah you heard that right grits. I’ve gotten on this grits kick. It’s pretty much like Malto-Meal [edit (11-12-05): grr, look what happens when you’re half asleep and blogging. It shouldn’t have been Malto-Meal but Cream of Wheat] which I’ve like for as long as I can remember. So I snagged a leftover roll at work when I got there this morning.     Wild Life: No One Gets The Master Plan, And No One Is Perfect

    I’ve known for a long time that I’m a perfectionist and a planner. This had always been both a strength and a great weakness for me. The major weakness is that I’m always trying to figure out God’s plan and I turn my perfectionism into unrealistic expectations of others. Also my perfectionism takes a lot of joy out of life. It means that unless it’s perfect I’m not happy, and the kicker is that it most likely 9 times out of 10 it isn’t going to be perfect. That’s a pretty sad way to live honestly.     What’s The Latest?

    Well, so what ever happened to the daily wisdom that I would bring to this thing they call the internet or blog-o-sphere? Well, sometimes life just makes a lot of demands on our time that we just can’t do anything about. Today I managed to finally get the new Faith & Fellowship Bookstore website online. This has been a long awaited task. There are some features that still need to be put in place but things changed along the way that will cause those things to require a different approach.     Completed My First Marathon…

    Today was a pretty big day for me. I completed my first ever marathon. It was a tough day, with the down pouring rain, wind gusts of 20 some miles per hour, and getting cramps in my legs that slowed me down, I ended the race pretty discouraged. Not to mention I ended up having to be taken to the medic tent after crossing the finish line, which was something my running partner and I had talked about not wanting to have happen to us. Let’s just say it was a pretty humbling experience. I’m so thankful for all of the encouragement from the many Hope Water International runners the kept encouraging me on the way to the finish line.
