Thanks to my amazing wife I went from a tiny desk to a nice big desk for when I work from home. I might be working from home more often now. 😉

Yard Projects Completed
This weekend was a busy one. We completed 3 yard projects including a new sandbox, stone fire bowl ring, and a prepped area for the above ground pool when it arrives. A lot of projects knocked off that we look forward to enjoying the rest of the summer.
As Christians, Are We Rising To Jesus’ Calling?
Christians, are we remembering Jesus calling or following the world when we complain about our president? It seems that I hear a lot of complaining and negativity about everything that our president does. I don’t agree with what a lot of what our president has done but I also wonder how many Christians are actually praying for our president, he needs it that is for sure.
Starting To See The Light
So last night the kitchen flooring got done so today we got gas installed for the stove, and Internet installed. My brother-in-law helped me get our appliances moved in. I finished hooking up all the appliances tonight. Things are starting to feel a little less overwhelming. I do still have to finish the floor in the hallway, and there is a huge pile of junk in the garage that needs cutting down to be picked up on Monday. I so can’t wait for move in day and us finally just being here and getting settled in.

To get good things out of your life, you have to first put good things in. [W]e don’t have a magic hat that allows us to pull something out of nothing. The positive character traits we seek can only result from a daily commitment to prioritize actions and decisions that please the Lord. Weekend Family Camping Recap
Had a great weekend camping not far from home at Woodchip Campground in Byron Center. Weekend was filled with a bunch of fun activities with the kids including time in the pool and time with some of Vanessa’s family.
