An 8 Mile Tuesday For Clean Water
In a time when many of us are stuck in our homes I’m glad to still be able to get out and run. I could definitely tell things were quieter than normal when I was finishing up my run. I am glad to know that, so far, no cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Sierra Leone. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun

Today was one of those mornings where after the alarm went off I ended spending the next 15 minutes debating with myself whether I should get ready to go run or just go back to bed and get some more sleep. I’m happy to say that running won today. #HWI #RiverBankRun #Run4Water #WhyIRun
Getting Back Into Training After A Long Camping Weekend
You know it’s going to be a hot and humid day when you feel it at 5am. Glad to be back out running after a week’s time of being out of it. I commend those that are able to keep up with their #training over vacations and while traveling. Looking forward to joining my running partner once again this week. #HWI #HessLakeRun #GRMarathon #Run4Water #SauconyRunChallenge

Maybe that will be my next New Year’s resolution. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #RiverBankRun Give the gift of clean water this Christmas: https://timn.me/2020HWI

I used to tell myself that I was trying to bring awareness to the need for clean water in the world, especially to our brothers and sisters in Sierra Leone, Africa. I feel like in the last few months I’ve lost sight of that, or if I’m really honest, it’s because I don’t think anyone else cares about that anymore. everything that has been going on with the pandemic, and now with the needed focus on racial injustice, I feel like people have forgotten about all the needs that existed before. The needs in our world are so many and we can’t all focus on all of them but we need some of…
