Odd Holiday Week, Real Healthy Living Test
This was a strange Holiday season with the timing of how Christmas and New Years fell, day-of-the-week wise. We had to celebrate our own Christmas a couple of days early and then traveled over the Holidays. Neither Christmas or New Years has felt like it was actually happening. We’ll still be celebrating Christmas with my in-laws in the next week. I’m not sure how next year so play out but I think we’re going to be taking breaks from traveling to Minnesota for Christmas, and go only every other year. Family Day At The Air Zoo
We had a fun day as a family at the Air Zoo. We’d never been there but this month there was a reciprocity deal with the Grand Rapids Public Museum. I love the reciprocity deals you get with memberships. Nice to try some new things. #FamilyOuting #GRPM #AirZoo
Are You As Smart As My 6 Year Old?
So I just witnessed my 6 year old daughter count backwards from 90 to zero. I’m constantly amazed at how smart she is. Not to mention that she is already reading at a 2nd grade level.
Being In Charge Of The Thanksgiving Turkey
As a former food service director, I was put in charge of baking the Thanksgiving turkey. It’s coming along nicely. We’ll see how people like it at lunch time.
