In a time when many of us are stuck in our homes I’m glad to still be able to get out and run. I could definitely tell things were quieter than normal when I was finishing up my run. 2nd to the last marathon training run today. Since I took a break yesterday in order to get some extra rest I decided to stick with the #Endomondo plan which called for some speed work, well sort of. ? I spent the slower end of the run lifting many of my family up in prayer, in addition to those in Africa that are still waiting for access to clean water. Our world is full of both physical and spiritual needs. Knocked out 18 miles this morning with my running partner. We decided to take on the Groundhog Day Marathon course near Millennium Park, 4 laps of the course. It was a good practice run. I’m glad we still have another month n of training to go as I could definitely feel the last couple of miles of just the 18. The need for access to clean water in Sierra Leone hasn’t been met so why would my running stop. Every run I take gives me an opportunity to share about the remaining need for clean water in Africa. I also hope that my commitment inspires others.
