A little wet this morning but the temperature was good. Felt like a tougher run though. #hwi #training #run4water
Today marks the last of my longer training runs as the taper begins before marathon day. The temp this morning was in the high teens which resulted in a pretty frosty beard. I ended up pushing things a little harder than the training plan called for, but I was trying to make it back home at a decent time. I ended up a bit slower the second half because I pushed things a bit harder than I should have, but that’s just the way it goes. I finished the last half mile strong though. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #GRGus Give clean water: https://timn.me/2Kx7NEr

The morning started off a bit later than it should have but I still got my 4 miles in. The run was still a bit of a challenge… #HWI #KCC #Run4Water #WhyIRun #GRHalfMarathon #RiverBankRun
It was a kind of interesting morning, weather wise. There was some big thunder before 4am but when I got outside for my morning run there wasn’t much for rain, just some sprinkles and mist off-and-on. The wind came and went as well. The crazy thing once again is to see my pace improve of the course of my run. Instead of what one would normally see, where your pace might get slower over the course of a run, for me my pace got better the longer I ran. It was a good morning for a run all around. Only a few more weeks until the #RiverBank and I think I’m feeling good about my training so far. #HWI #WhyIRun #Run4Water
This past Saturday was the official start of the 2020 #GRMarathon season. The #HWI team had a virtual group run meeting via Zoom to kick things off. I was running almost 12 miles so I got them wrapped up before the group meeting. Today was an easy 5 mile run to start the week off. #Run4Water #WhyIRun
