Love Your Enemies…
Matthew 5:44 – So I happened to read a regular text entry on a Podcast that I subscribe to. This Podcast is like an audiobook, actually this is his second book. Well it would seem his site, with posts and comments, was hacked. This in and of itself isn’t a huge deal, except for the fact that the person doing the hacking is claiming to be apart of the cummunity of believers in Intelligent Design. It rather has me annoyed at how twisted people’s thinking get when it comes to their beliefs. Last year I was just an attendee but this year I stepped things up in a pretty bug way. I was not only a volunteer at the Happiness Bar, but I helped with organize the event, and was even one of the speakers. One of the things I love about #WordCamp Grand Rapids, and the #WordPress community is the people. Yet again I felt welcomed as a member of the community, valued for my experiences as a developer and user of WordPress, and encouraged when I had doubts of being…
Cold And Wet Fall 5 Miles
It was a cold, wet, windy morning for a training run. I couldn’t really focus on much other than to just keep pushing forward. The rain did get me thinking about whether it was the rainy season still in Sierra Leone, and how Alimamy and his mother were managing. #HWI #GRMarathon #Run4Water #WhyIRun
