There is a lot of planning and work involved with putting in a quality well that will sustain a village for years to come, and through long dry seasons. When you support a well through Hope Water you can know that your dollars are impacting generations. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun Make a global, and generational, impact by giving to clean water: https://timn.me/2Kx7NEr With the River Bank Run now being postponed to the fall I’m not sure what my running will look like. I haven’t stopped my 25K training plan, but there won’t be a race to finish out the training. I’m considering a Virtual Race, but it will be more money spent. We’ll see what this year brings for running.
Regardless of what my plan was I still managed to get out of bed and get my run in, so it was still a good day. #HWI #KCC #Run4Water #WhyIRun #GRHalfMarathon
Back at it again this morning. It was an intense short training test run. I was hoping to see a #5K #PR but that may have to wait until Saturday when I do the #HotCiderHustle 5K. I had just ran the night before so my body hadn’t really had a ton of recovery time. I’ll be looking forward to representing #HWI at the Hot Cider Hustle. It sounds like there will be a few of us out there. I always love having the opportunity to share to share about the mission when I where my Hope Water blue. After a rocky start to the weekend on Friday we did our best to make the most of a rainy weekend at the Jellystone Campground in Fremont Indiana. We started off Saturday morning with our big breakfast meal. After breakfast, and a little fishing, we took in a train ride around the campground. After our lunch we did some more fishing, of course. Both the kids enjoyed fishing, especially when they kept getting bites. The nice part is that the pond was catch and release, and the kids really didn’t care how big the fish were. On Sunday the rain had mostly cleared out so we took in a lot more activities, including a wagon ride where the kids got to see some of the…
Short assessment #training run today. Felt good but seemed way too short so put in little extra to at least get a #5K in. #HWI #HessLakeRun #GRMarathon #Run4Water
