We had a great afternoon taking in a Wisconsin Dells feature. We’ve been to the Dells a few years now and haven’t taken in any of the attractions. We thought it was good to try something. #TheDells
I expected to have a better overall average time given my training plan had me doing high intensity sprints. It’s OK though as my times were faster than my plan actually called for. The 2nd half of my run was really a little bit of a wake up call on where my focus has been lately. Life has been more about me lately and I’ve been missing, or straight up ignoring the needs of people around me. I may be a bit hard on myself but I’m one that always feels called to do better and not let myself just coast through life. Christ is the model of how even though we may be working on our personal calling our focus needs to be on…
The number of children in Africa that suffer from lack of clean water is staggering. I’ve been to Sierra Leone and seen first hand the hardship the people experience when they don’t have easy access to clean water, and I’ve seen the transformation when they do. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #RiverBankRun Give to Clean Water: https://timn.me/2Kx7NEr
Pulling off the #panelling on the outer wall and adjoining corners in preparation for the #drainage work to be done I our #basement. Was hoping to be doing this in preparation for basement finishing. 🙁
With my wife out of town I can’t be leaving the kids home alone, this means the treadmill it is. I think this is the first time I’ve been on the treadmill probably in the last 8-10 months. I literally can’t remember the last time I had to use it. For times like these I’m glad we have it or there would be no running. Since the treadmill required significantly less thought, except for changing the speed during the short interval run segment, it gave me ample time to think about the Sierra Leone team and trip. I continue to pray for our team’s planning and the journey to come. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #RiverBankRun
