A Proper Snowy Winter Run

Sleep won on Monday, but I didn’t let the weather win today. I’m never swayed from running in some snow. It just means I may have to slow down.

The need for water around the world is still real for so many. Partner with Hope Water today: https://timn.me/2020HWI

    A Hoodie Kind Of Morning

It was good that I had a week of blistering cold Minnesota running which pretty much prepared me for the colder weather we’ve had this week. This morning was a shorter interval run, but the 20 minute high intensity interval pretty much set me up to only focus on the run, and the upcoming Groundhog Day Marathon. I’m trying to just trust my training is preparing me like it should but the longest I’ve ran since the last marathon was 18 miles, which is 8.2 miles short. Again, I need to keep my focus on merely finishing and not let myself get caught up with anything else. I can’t deny that it would be great to beat my last marathon time, but I can’t let…

    Thanksgiving Training Run

Got my own little 10k+ Turkey Trot in this morning. Staying on course as I train for the #GroundhogDayMarathon in February. Looking to represent the #HWI team at that event. After having my water freezing on me this morning I can already tell this is going to be an interesting training season. Oh, it looks like I happen to #PR this morning, which wasn’t my intention, but it happened so that made for a nice way to start off the #Thanksgiving day. Yes, I Did Get A Quick Morning Run In

Give Children Clean Water: https://timn.me/2Kx7NEr #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #GRMarathon I had to have slept really well last night, I felt great running this morning and the pace I was running at felt like I was doing way slower that I was. Where are the best places for wells to go in Africa? The desire with new wells is to place them where they will have the maximum impact on the community. In many cases this will be near the school in the village. Water has a huge impact on children in Africa.

    While Running Anything Can Happen

This week I was pretty off on my #training but I got my long run in today since I’ve got an all day conference tomorrow. It felt good to be back out running and I even felt good about my pace, for an easy long run. I’m not sure if it was God leading me but I started thinking about Sierra Leone and the next team going and wondered if I should consider leading the team. #HWI #GRMarathon #Run4Water #HessLakeRun #SierraLeone
  • Water, Let Alone Clean Water, Doesn’t Come Easy To Many

For many, even though water may be near it doesn’t mean that’s is easy or safe to get to and it still may not even be safe to drink, but it’s all they may have. As we are in the Christmas season consider giving the gift of clean water. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #RiverBankRun Help make safe water accessible: https://timn.me/2020HWI
