Life is Grand…

Well, I was doing some chatting with a good friend online earlier today. It kind of came to mind that it would appear my life is consumed with eHarmony and my quest to find that special someone. Anyways, of course this is not all that encompasses my life. There is more, here is what I said earlier:

I was just thinking to myself that I haven’t been very diligent in writing in my blog what God has been teaching me, there is really more going on for me spiritually than what is seen in my blog. God has been teaching me a lot through my reading and having daily time with Him. This eHarmony/relationship thing has really been a smaller part of my life, even though from my blog you’d think otherwise. I’ve been so blessed by the changes I’ve made in my schedule/time to have quite time in the mornings and evenings.

Well, I know what wasn’t say much but it had me thinking it’s time to move onto other topics. I’ve spent quite enough time filling up the blog with that topic. It may of course come up again. Well I’m off to be a little productive yet tonight. Later!

Oh, one more thing. I think I have a new favorit music group, Rivertribe. They are great! It’s some cool Christian techno. I downloaded their Christmas album, it’s excellent!

    When God Straightens Us Out, We Find Joy

    Well, I finaly made it up early today, and I had my time with God. What an incredible difference that makes. I feel like I got a lot accomplished today at work.   • Let The Games Begin…

    Well, I have to say it was nice to be getting back into the swing of playing Settlers of Catan. There was only four of us tonight, verses the regular 5, but it was a good close game all around. Right off the bat I noticed I made a rather major error in the placement of my pieces that kind of did me in for winning. Work today was pretty good. It never seems like I get everything I want to get done. I did mostly complete one project, at least the biggest part of it. Hopefully next week I’ll be able to wrap that up.     Weekend Recap…

    Ok, so I guess I took a break from the whole blog thing, sort of. Basically I ended up adding some additional features and tweaks. I never did get to see any friends. Oh well, hopefully another time. Sunday, my family and I headed off to the Minnesota State Fair with my aunt and uncle. My sister invited two friends so they basically went off and did their own thing. It started out with kind of crumby weather on the way, but it cleared up by the time we got their and started walking around. I can’t say that I say anything exceptional.   • Wedding Photos Available…and a Quick Update

    Well, I know that I haven’t posted in awhile. Married life has changed things quite a bit for me, altough I know that even before being married I was lacking in the post, oops. Just some quick updates. Photos from the wedding are available (http://photos.noltefamily.org/), hopefully we’ll get some honeymoon photos posted soon. The honeymoon was amazing and life now is beginning to find some normalcy. I’m loving being married, especially to have a wife as amazing as Vanessa. We had such a great evening together last night!
