Quick One Tonight…

Ok, long story short I’m in a little hot water as I’m behind in the website job. Technically the contract they signed covers my butt, however it’s looking like I don’t have enough time for these types of side jobs. The day was pretty good, but too many things to do, this partly due to the problems with one of the servers. Ended up being no praise team practise as too many couldn’t make it. It was alright though cause I could work on the website project and get my music together for tomorrow. Well, I’ve already done my reading for tonight, I said a quick good night to a bunch on IM, and I’m checking outta here tonight as well. This will give everyone a break from the drama that is my life, LOL. Chows!

    First Day in Sierra Leone

    I had a great night’s sleep at the hotel. Where we are staying there are multiple buildings of rooms. Each of us has our own room and bathroom. I was honestly blown away with the accommodations. As I mentioned to my wife, I was humbled by the accommodations compared to living conditions we passed by on our drive to the hotel the previous evening. After breakfast, which included eggs, toast, fruit, and a hotdog, we loaded up in the World Hope vehicles on our way to Kethirie for church.     Have I Forgotten?

    I know that morning will come too soon, I’ve got to be to work by 5am, but once again I find myself searching. I love how God is always tugging at me and wanting to stretch, and most of all asking me to continue on the path towards Him. Something that has been pulling at me for the past month is my concern that I’ve began living my life for myself.     Where’s The Line…Freedom in Christ or Good Witness

    (1 Corinthians 14:13-25) In my devotion time today, Paul was again talking to the church in Corinth about matters of witness to unbelievers and escentially the freedom found in Christ. The problem for the early church, and I would say that this problem has not gone away, was that for the unbelievers (or even weak or new in faith) there were things that they didn’t understand which easily turned them off to Christianity. The hard part comes in that God has called us, as Christians, to be different than this world.     Being Social…Fun Stuff!

    So, not a lot to report on today. I’m feeling a need a little bit more time in the morning to get going. If I would get myself to bed at a decent time it would help, hopefully I’ll accomplish that tonight. Got into work and started working on website stuff. I pretty much worked on website stuff all day. I had a meeting with Church Services and we’re getting realy close with the new bookstore website. I’m hoping perhaps by Christmas, maybe even the end of this month, we’ll see.
