Kicking Off The Week Strong
My training plan slowed my pace down this week. I suspect since my last Thursday evaluation run involved some pretty icy sidewalks that it affected the outcome of my training plan. I felt really good even after taking this past Saturday off. It’s definitely been harder staying with it since I’m pretty disconnected from my Hope Water Team these days. I’m glad I got out there this morning to knock out some miles for clean water. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun
Finished Another 4.83mi Interval Training, Run Today
Given the struggle on Monday to get traction and keep a decent place I decided to take my interval run to the treadmill. About the only good thing about a treadmill is that you can easily keep a consistent pace. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #RiverBankRun #treadmill
Making A Way For Education Through Clean Water
All it will take is 20 people to each give $12.75 from now until the #GRMarathon day to hit my goal and bring another 19 people clean water. https://timn.me/2Kx7NEr #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun What we do today has an impact on the future of the generations to come. Bringing clean water to a village in Africa can mean the difference between their children having an education or not. Clean water has long lasting effects that will change the world. What better way to invest in the future generations. Even though my training plan called for an easy run I took the short distance as an opportunity to push myself. I could definitely feel the warmer temperature this morning. Needless to say, it took me awhile to…
Relegating To The Treadmill
With my wife out of town I can’t be leaving the kids home alone, this means the treadmill it is. I think this is the first time I’ve been on the treadmill probably in the last 8-10 months. I literally can’t remember the last time I had to use it. For times like these I’m glad we have it or there would be no running. Since the treadmill required significantly less thought, except for changing the speed during the short interval run segment, it gave me ample time to think about the Sierra Leone team and trip. I continue to pray for our team’s planning and the journey to come. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #RiverBankRun
An Early Morning Snowy Progressive Run
It was a hard run, especially with the snow, but I got it done. #HWI #Run4Water #GroundhogMarathon #Garmin #Running #snow
Back To Saturday Running With My Partner
We were supposed to have a slow easy run this morning but our conversation got the better of us and we kind of lost track of our pace. Felt good to be back out with my running partner doing a long Saturday run. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #SaturdayGroupRun Donate to Clean Water – https://timn.me/2t9D4ne
