I’m Addicted…

So I’ve discovered that I’m totally addicted to tweaking my blog. I just can’t stop! LOL 😛 I think it’s the perfectionist in me. Can’t I be content with the way it is…of course not. Technology changes daily, and so must my blog! LOL 😛 Well, I must get back to work.

    Ok, my logical analytical side and my creative side think too much [edit: and throw in my emotional nature, oh boy]. And it sucks! I’m kind of feeling the effects of that this morning. Grrr! Wish there was someway to fix my head. So this morning isn’t turning out to be the best. I forgot to set my alarm, woke up 10 minutes before I was to be at work, grrr. I made it into work by 7:15, not so bad. Well on to the grind I guess. Time to turn on some tunes and get my mind off of crazy thinking.

    Fixing OpenLiteSpeed Caching for ActivityPub on WordPress

    After some conversation with others on #Mastodon about other caching issues with #ActivityPub & #WordPress it was revealed that it came down to the Accept headers being received by requests to the caching services. The caching services could be things like #Cloudflare or web servers such as #OpenLiteSpeed, or even WordPress caching plugins. In my case I use the OpenLiteSpeed web server caching and I started digging into how caching works in OpenLiteSpeed and how I could fix it for my WordPress site.

    Dear Family and Friends, You may have already heard, but I wanted to let you know that Kjirsti and I have a new son! Owan Ryan Nilsen was born on January 28, 2006, at 12:47am, and weighed 6 lbs., 12 oz., 20 inches. He is a good size, but came five weeks early Kjirsti went into labor around 10:00pm on Friday, January 27, and gave birth to Owan at 12:47am on Saturday, January 28. He appeared on the scene really fast! The delivery went fine, and the doctor and nurses took care of Owan and watched his vital signs to make sure he was adjusting to his new environment.     So What’s My Problem?

    In short, life, more specific, work. So as it grinds on even later in the evening I just felt I needed to get back to this things called blogging. So obviously the daily anecdotes of my life haven’t made their way to this space in cyber-space much. When life get’s crazy you have to take a hard look at what you are spending your time on. I have days that I wish I wasn’t so willing to do things for people. It’s in my nature to give, and give, and give, and give until I’ve got nothing left for me.
