Hardships…Who’s to Blame?

(Exodus 5:1-23) Initially it would seem that Moses and Aaron weren’t helping matters each time they talked to Pharaoh. The Isrealites even blamed them for making things harder for them. How did Moses and Aaron take that? Well we know that at least Moses in turn decided to blame God for what was happening to the Isrealites. It might seem that both the Isrealites and/or Moses were correct in placing blame, however they were wrong as God had a plan for it all.

I think about when things, even small things, don’t go our way we so easily look to place blame. I think it can be so easy for us to lose sight of the possibility that God is working. We can never fully understand God, and I know that there are so many times that life doesn’t make any sense. How is it that God can use the things He does, are allow things to happen, for His ultimate plan? That’s a question that I don’t see getting answered anytime soon. In fact even when we get to heaven, we may find no need for that question, and the millions of others, to even be answered.

So getting back to the title question. Who’s to blame? I would have to say that there is really no one too blame. The only thing that can be slightly blamed is the fact that there is sin in the world, and that will not change until Christ’s return. I think the best reaction is to take our times of frustration and our quesions to God and leave them in His hands. We can’t go wrong with putting our trust in a God that is greater than anything in this world. Amen!

Dusting Off The Blog in The Corner

I’m going to keep this a little short as I’m actually typing this all out on my phone. I decided to try to consolidate and at the same time bring my old blog up-to-date and back into the picture. I haven’t really taken the time to blog in years. Going to perhaps pick things up again, while at the same time tie in my Twitter and facebook. We’ll see how it goes, not making any commitment, plus I can only type so long on my phone before nmy hands get tired. More to come later, hopefully.

iTunes 5 Not Ready for Prime Time…

So I got home tonight and wanted to checkout the news from Apple today. I saw the ads for the new iPod Neo and the iTunes phone. I also saw that there was a new iTunes 5. I went to Software Updates and upgraded my iTunes, I’ve done this in the past without problems. Well it totally messed up my iTunes Library along with my Podcast subscriptions. Popped on over to the Apple Forums and of course a lot of people are having this problem. Well I made the decision to revert back to iTunes 4.9. It took a little but to track down an iTunes 4.9 installer. Got it downloaded removed iTunes 5, along with all my iTunes receipts, and restored my iTunes Library…
  • The First Disciples

(John 1:35-39) We see here that John the Baptist had disciples of his own. Actually, later in the Scriptures, Jesus gives us the great commission to go and make disciples. Now the disciples that John had were following him, until they heard and saw Jesus. Really, it was John that pointed his followers to go follow Jesus. Something that is interesting, however, is the fact that John calls Jesus the “Lamb of God”. This was pretty early in Jesus main ministry and I wonder how many people really understood what that meant? Jesus being called the “Lamb of God” really meant that he was a sacrifice given by God. At the time most people were waiting for a Messiah to come and save them, but…

  1. I think you would agree that sometimes we are to blame. Ultimately, we can make poor decisions that have consequences.

I do agree that if sin was not part of this world, we wouldn’t be tempted to do dumb things, and then suffer the consequences.
