Showing Love, Not Demanding A Life Lived Under The Law

Galatians 5:13‭-‬14 NLT

This morning it hit me, during my devotion time, how so many of us that claim to follow Christ get caught up demanding others, and ourselves, live under the law as a measure of whether you are a Christ follower. Our world is in disarray. As the church we need to embrace our world in love just as Christ showed the whole world. How we easily forget that Christ died for us while we’re still sinners. How then can we not follow his example and show that kind of love to our world?

    Well, this is going to be another short post. I didn’t get hardly any sleep last night. This cold I’ve caught has really made things hard.     When God Straightens Us Out, We Find Joy

    Well, I finaly made it up early today, and I had my time with God. What an incredible difference that makes. I feel like I got a lot accomplished today at work. I still have a pretty busy work day tomorrow but God has shown me the light. Tonight I was able to get yet another project completed. It looks like by next weeks end I should finally have my head above the water. I’m so thankful for the prayers and support I’ve gotten from people.   • I’m Sick…And Tired…

    Each day passes by and I wonder what ever happened to the daily need to publish my thoughts. Well it is still there, however I find my time somehow filled with other things. The time passes and my eyes grow heavy with the thought of sleep. Perhaps I have more of a life now, perhap I have come to a point of not so depressing thoughts. I guess one factor that has changed in my life is the on-going communication I have with others. I actually have real people to care on discussion with.   • God Equips

    I’ve heard it said many times “God equips the called, He doesn’t necessarily call the equipped.”. The statement from my devotions this morning reminded me of that fact. Recently in our small group we talked about the storms we have in life.
