God Has Our Back

What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? – Romans 8:31 NLT

This verse should give us the confidence to take on anything. Of course anything that is part of God’s plan and not our own doing. We need to hold on to this truth when we have those bad days where we wonder if it can get any worse or we face seemingly insurmountable obstacles.

    Well, it’s been crazy lately. I’ve had so many things going on. So I haven’t gotten much for posts up in the last few days. I was up way too late trying to get me photo gallery going on Thursday, after my walk. The walk Thursday was very relaxing. I wish I didn’t have so much going on all the time.     Just A Short One

    Well, here I am in the wee hours of the night. So the pleasant act of IMing and playing music caught me up tonight. I pretty much got my taxes done, and it looks like a good tax return. Too bad I have debt, I go out any buy one of them fancy 5G iPods, 🙂 Well, I’m hoping in the next couple of years to have all the small debt paid off.     Dusting Off The Blog in The Corner

    I’m going to keep this a little short as I’m actually typing this all out on my phone. I decided to try to consolidate and at the same time bring my old blog up-to-date and back into the picture. I haven’t really taken the time to blog in years. Going to perhaps pick things up again, while at the same time tie in my Twitter and facebook. We’ll see how it goes, not making any commitment, plus I can only type so long on my phone before nmy hands get tired. More to come later, hopefully.

    Wild Life: No One Gets The Master Plan, And No One Is Perfect

    I’ve known for a long time that I’m a perfectionist and a planner. This had always been both a strength and a great weakness for me. The major weakness is that I’m always trying to figure out God’s plan and I turn my perfectionism into unrealistic expectations of others. Also my perfectionism takes a lot of joy out of life. It means that unless it’s perfect I’m not happy, and the kicker is that it most likely 9 times out of 10 it isn’t going to be perfect. That’s a pretty sad way to live honestly.   • Days of Dancing

    I happy to say that the dancing seems to be going really well. We had our first class last night and we even got a little practice in tonight. Actually, funny enough Vanessa gave me a call tonight right as I was trying to work out some of the dance moves myself. She came over to my place to join me in some practicing. We had so much fun just working on the steps and laughing with each other. I really can’t help but smile as I look into Vanessa eyes as I lead her while we dance.
