    Started of this new year with a 10K Saturday “long run”, as my training plan called it. I think food has always been something that I’ve used to feel good. Of course, when you live a pretty sedentary lifestyle, that causes weight gain and I struggled with that for many years. A well is the start of helping a village help themselves. The responsibility of the well, and the well-being of the village, is on a team of leaders from the village.     Managing A Late Start Interval Run

    This morning had an off start. After waking up and looking at the time I realized I had forgot to change my alarm the night before and I had woken up an hour late. I tried to get myself out the door as soon as I could but I knew there was no way I was going to get the 8-9 miles in that my training plan called for. On top of that it was an interval training run. I decided to just follow the intervals but cut the run short in order to get back home at a decent time. I did manage to get just shy of miles in, even though I had some tough going intervals.
