Ok, some may be wondering why I’ve had no posts on the blog since Monday. Well it so happens that I have had no internet at home since Wednesday. Hopefully they’ll get it fixed today. I’m gone tonight so there probably won’t be a post until Saturday. I’ve got a lot of things to catch up on. Chow for now!

    What God Brings…

    It has been a few days since my last update. I think I should now be able to have more regular updates as I finally have internet access at my place, and my wireless is up and running. It’s not that I couldn’t post from Vanessa’s, that’s where the last one was posted from, I’ve just had a lot of other things to do during the day, and my best posting time is usually at night.     Being Apart of a Community of Faith…

    I know it’s late but I had to share a little of what happened today. I had the privilege today to talk with my boss, Todd M., about some exciting ideas of establishing a community of faith. He has been leading a group on Sundays, which I am apart of, and Wednesdays. We’re studying “The Passionate Life” and the Life Shapes. What is more we all have a desire to get away from the model of “doing church”, but being apart of a group of believers that is missional & relational, where Christ’s design for the “church” is lived out in our daily lives. I yearn to be building relationships that are about kingdom work not just self-fullfilling. At the lowest level of this community…

    When God Straightens Us Out, We Find Joy

    Well, I finaly made it up early today, and I had my time with God. What an incredible difference that makes. I feel like I got a lot accomplished today at work. I still have a pretty busy work day tomorrow but God has shown me the light. Tonight I was able to get yet another project completed. It looks like by next weeks end I should finally have my head above the water. I’m so thankful for the prayers and support I’ve gotten from people.     Your Attention Please…

    (Exodus 3:1-5) So God used a burning bush to get Moses attention. What does He use today to get our attention. I’m reminded of something a pastor said recently, “can we hear God’s whisper in this loud world?”, can we? The world that we live in is definitely busier and louder than in Biblical times. It took a burning bush even then to get Moses attention. Are we ready and willing to hear the whisper of God as He speaks to us?
