What’s The Latest?

Well, so what ever happened to the daily wisdom that I would bring to this thing they call the internet or blog-o-sphere? Well, sometimes life just makes a lot of demands on our time that we just can’t do anything about. Today I managed to finally get the new Faith & Fellowship Bookstore website online. This has been a long awaited task. There are some features that still need to be put in place but things changed along the way that will cause those things to require a different approach.

On the personal front, things between Vanessa and I got all straightened out Monday night. It was a rather mixed up mess that we got ourselves in but it was definitely a growing point in our relationship, and it utlimately brought us closer together. Thanks for the prayers and support.

For those that perhaps haven’t caught on by now, I’m looking to be making a location move most likely within the next six months. I’m not certain where at this point but I will be checking into some more options that I learned about tonight. My guess is that I will be heading East of Minnesota. I kind of feel perhaps this may even mean all the way to the coast. I’d appreciate some prayer as I seek God’s guidance for where He’s leading me.

Well, it’s late once again. After game night with the guys I decided to try and get my Winbloze machine up and running, as the MoBo I bought off eBay arrived today. However, much to my dismay the fix was a no go, either the MoBo is bad, which I’m pretty sure I bought it with that possibility in mind. So now I’m not really sure where to go from here. Do I try buying another MoBo, or just forget it and see about buying a barebones system? I really don’t have the money to stick into a whole new machine. I guess I may just have to bask in the joy of being a Mac only home user. 😀 lol

  • Podcast Site Development Begun…

    Well, the domain name (https://www.faithshaping.org/) has been setup, and an initial site has been created. I won’t probably be getting back to the work on this for at least another week. I hope to have the two final projects I’m working on finished up by then. I’m also hoping to have my new Podcasting gear by then, actually it may be here by the end of the week, we’ll see. I can’t wait to really get going on this. I’m not exactly sure how I’m going to fair as a radio personality type.

    The Call to Being Generous

    If we consider how generous God was to give His son to die for us, his call for us to be generous in our giving pales in comparison. I’ve heard it said, by Robert Morris I believe, that we can’t out give God. I’m always challenged in the area of generosity, with even my time and care for others not just my finances. I am blessed to have a wife that has a generous heart to help challenge me and counter my weakness in this area.

    God’s Working

    In an effort to trying posting on a regular basis, here goes #2 for the year. 🙂 Recently over the course of a few weeks I applied for a job, got 2 intrviews and was offered a job. The job, in-and-of itself, I would have loved, however it would have come at a great financial cost to my family, which would have made it much harder to either adopt again or think about buying a new house. I think what was most important that came out of the whole situation was the realization that neither me or my family has any real goals or plans for our lives.     It’s been forever since I actually posted something on my blog. I’m not even sure why I’ve kept it around for so long. I guess perhaps I thought I would return again to blogging someday. What with things like Facebook there almost isn’t a reason to have your own blog anymore.
