Podcast Site Development Begun…

Well, the domain name (https://www.faithshaping.org/) has been setup, and an initial site has been created. I won’t probably be getting back to the work on this for at least another week. I hope to have the two final projects I’m working on finished up by then. I’m also hoping to have my new Podcasting gear by then, actually it may be here by the end of the week, we’ll see. I can’t wait to really get going on this. I’m not exactly sure how I’m going to fair as a radio personality type.

    A Post, A Post, At Last A Post

    So what have we been up to, well when I say we I mean me. So life has been a little crazy this past week, although I don’t expect it to calm down anytime soon. I’ve got a lot of things to do by this weekend. I’ve got a load of photos to scan and some more video to import. I don’t think I’ll be getting the Cantata CD’s done by Christmas, oh well.   • Been A Long Time

    I haven’t posted on here for so long I’m sure no one is following me anymore. It’s crazy to think that there was a time when I was posting like everyday, sometimes twice. Things are of course different now. I think the thing is that when I was posting before it was all about what was going on in my life. Now my life is not just me but my wife also. I think if I put myself out here, I’m taking her along with me, and I don’t want that. The other problem seems to be finding the time.     Can I Make A Weekly Update?

    Well, so it’s been almost 2 weeks since my last post. I think I need to do something about this. In no way have I gotten tired of the whole blog scene, it’s just that my life has changed so much. I’m still finding my way back to something that feels normal. Everything here still seems pretty new. I remember that it took a few months for me to establish some normalcy my first year of college. Everything was brand new for me, and it was hard to begin with.     Youth Group Kickoff…

    Well, today work was pretty normal. Nothing too special. We had the youth group kickoff and things seemed to go pretty well. I got over to the church about 5:15 or so to get the sound system & projection equipment all setup. I worked on fine tuning OpenSong a little during break at work and then finished up with adding some announcements Andrew had. Maralee was willing to run presentation. My only problem with OpenSong thus far is that it has slow transitions. I still think it’s a pretty good tool for free on the Mac. We had a good intro meeting as small group leaders.
