Podcast Site Development Begun…

Well, the domain name (https://www.faithshaping.org/) has been setup, and an initial site has been created. I won’t probably be getting back to the work on this for at least another week. I hope to have the two final projects I’m working on finished up by then. I’m also hoping to have my new Podcasting gear by then, actually it may be here by the end of the week, we’ll see. I can’t wait to really get going on this. I’m not exactly sure how I’m going to fair as a radio personality type.

  • DISC and Colds…

    Not going to post much today. We had a seminar on DISC profiles today at work. It was good to understand our own personalities and how we should interact with others of different personalities. I didn’t end up going to Fargo, I need to get some rest and didn’t want things to get too late getting home. Although it’s late now, I’m heading to bed soon. I did get together with John & Anders and we watched The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy it was funny to watch again. It’s on my list of movies to purchase.     Busy Days, Lazy Nights…

    Just wanted to make a quick post. My days, Monday & Tuesday, were crazy busy. On the other hand both evenings were kind of lazy on my part. Monday I did try working on recording some music. That would have been better if I ended up actually having something to show for the time I spent. I sort of had something, probably was trying to add in some percussion loops to what I had recorded. I ended up having my own timing on what I recorded. Well, of course I didn’t save each take as a seperate recording session, GarageBand still seems a bit odd to work with at times.     A Post, A Post, At Last A Post

    So what have we been up to, well when I say we I mean me. So life has been a little crazy this past week, although I don’t expect it to calm down anytime soon. I’ve got a lot of things to do by this weekend. I’ve got a load of photos to scan and some more video to import. I don’t think I’ll be getting the Cantata CD’s done by Christmas, oh well. Ok I guess I’m getting a little ahead of myself. How about we go back to last week. So my last post was Wednesday. That night was youth group and the whole youth praise team was there to lead music.   • Update, Long Overdue…

    I’ve been married now for about 2.5 months. Married life has been what I hoped and more, some good and some challenging. We’ve gotten into more of a routine now, but not so much that life isn’t interesting. We’ve been trying to work on the house. A few weekends ago we put up gutters. That was an interesting job, with some challenges, but it’s all good. We’ll be doing some yard work in another few weeks. Once the grass grows back I think we’ll have a pretty nice front yard. Work has been going pretty good. The past couple of weeks I feel as though I’ve gotten nothing really accomplished, at least nothing that anyone can see.
