Quick For Now…Best Birthday Ever!

So, before I hit the sack. I just have to thank the most amazing women in the world [Vanessa ;-)] for the most amazing birthday ever. OK, so some of you are thinking “it’s not your birthday yet” well, we celebrated early because we’ve got our dance class on Tuesday. Today was an awesome day! Vanessa gave me a season of Seinfeld on DVD and a disc golf bag. She took me out for dinner at a great place called Rose’s on Reeds Lake, and we had some wood-fired pizza, it was excellent. After dinner we headed over to a theatre to see an improv group (River City Improv). We had a load of laughs. Well, I’ll have to get into more later. I don’t think I can thank Vanessa enough for the day.

    Just Another Quick One

    So it won’t be long, of course it’s getting late again. Well I think I can count like 5 books I’m now in the process of reading…probably going to add another couple more before the month even starts I think. I’m sort of overwhelmed, but at the same time I’m kind of happy to actually be doing some reading. When I was a lot younger I used to read a lot.     We Need To Persevere In All Areas Of Our Lives

Then you will receive all that he has promised. – Hebrews 10:35‭-‬36 NLT There is a lot of perseverance that I need these days. Between work, our new house moving, serving at Daybreak, and training for the Fifth Third River Bank Run I’m being pulled and challenged and it’s easy to feel like giving up on any one of those. Thankful for God’s encouragement and truth today.

    Well, this is going to be another short post. I didn’t get hardly any sleep last night. This cold I’ve caught has really made things hard. Also, with the stuff I’ve got going on, and trying to get up early has been really conflicting. I really need to get some rest. Leading music tonight was tough with this cold, I messed one song and sounded terrible. I can’t wait to get the rest of the team leading, it’ll really help me out.     The Time Has Come…

    Well, for those that have long awaited a post to thie fabulous blog, here we go. This will probably be a short one. So much has been going on since my last post, actually a lot happened through December that I didn’t even get time to write about. I’m really looking forward to life settling down a bit. The first day of youth group begins tomorrow, and we had are first youth praise team meeting today, since Christmas that is. Tonight we just came up with a list of songs we want to do this winter/spring. I’ll be putting together the set lists and get them all the songs. I’ve even created a schedule that will be available online as well. I’m looking forward to…

    A Little Behind…LOL

    I just realized how funny that title could be read. LOL. Anyways, I just realized I haven’t posted since like Friday, WOW! Ok, so I should have a lot to write about right, well not so much. Also this going to bed early thing has really been cutting into my blogging time. That and the fact that I’ve been doing some reading each night besides. There just doesn’t seem to be enough time in the day for everything. Maybe I’ll have to start doing a mid-day thing, like during lunch. Since I’m usually a long poster this would at least break my posts up into smaller chunks. Well, hmm…I’ll try to get something more in, to recap the weekend, perhaps in the morning. I’m off…
