    Fixing OpenLiteSpeed Caching for ActivityPub on WordPress

    After some conversation with others on #Mastodon about other caching issues with #ActivityPub & #WordPress it was revealed that it came down to the Accept headers being received by requests to the caching services. The caching services could be things like #Cloudflare or web servers such as #OpenLiteSpeed, or even WordPress caching plugins. In my case I use the OpenLiteSpeed web server caching and I started digging into how caching works in OpenLiteSpeed and how I could fix it for my WordPress site.

    If Money Were No Object, What I’d Choose For My Next Developer Machine

    These days I’m sporting an HP Chromebook 13 G1 which has mostly been a good machine. Seems like even with 8GB of RAM I still end up with some freeze ups when I’m plugging in or unplugging my USB-C dock. It’s rather frustrating but fortunately Google Chrome is designed to recognize abrupt closes and can recover. I used to run in developer mode but now since I can run Android apps I’m using Termux with a Linux shell and Neovim as my IDE. I’m still working out the best setup for Neovim but so far it’s serving me well. So back to the premise of this post and the main image.     Student Ministries

    Going to make a quick post tonight. This is my second round of seeing my time come to an end working with a group of student guys. Crazy enough the last group of guys I had are just graduating college this year. For me, no matter what it seems so hard to not havve regrets. Wishing I had more deep conversations, spent more time hanging out, took more opportunities to serve together, and I’m sure the list could go on. What I trust and hope in was that God was able to use me exactly as He had intended. I may never know if I really had an impact in these guys’ lives, and may even doubt when I catch glimspes of their lives down…
