This morning was a bonus #Endomondo training run day. According to the Endomondo marathon training plan I needed to do at least 5 days of running per week which meant adding Wednesdays as a running day instead of the #HWI training plan’s cross training day. Wee Early Morning Run
Well, this morning was not a typical training run. With having to start work at 5:30 in the morning my focus was mostly on getting done as quick as I could. Knocking Out The Saturday Morning Long Run – 25K Training
I honestly don’t know what changed this week, but as far as my running goes I have felt great this week. Knocking out the runs with paces that have far exceeded my expectations. I’m not sure if this means my training schedule is too easy for where I’m really at or I am just pushing myself too hard. One would like to think that after training and completing 4 marathons that you would see some improvements. However, I’m getting older so that typically means getting slower, but I’m fortunately not seeing that yet. If The Weather Permits, Take It Outside
I felt really out of sync this morning. As others have pointed out from the HWP Team what you eat the day before has an impact on your runs. It wasn’t that I ate bad all day but I didn’t fuel myself enough to prepare for my run this morning. I’m still trying to figure out how to manage my eating. I’ve been on this weight loss path and I’m struggling with figuring out how to eat “normal” now that I’m at a healthy weight. Finishing My Hottest Day 5k
