Saturday Morning, 16 Mile HWI Group Run

Decided to “follow” the #Endomondo training plan today to get a longer interval run in. So far I’ve been doing some mix of the #HWI training plan and the Endomondo one. We’ll see how well that works out for me. It was a very cool morning for a run, I was pretty surprised when I stepped out the door. It made for great weather for a run. While I listened to a #worship running mix I focused on praying for my wife and kids. Life has been challenging recently with the kids. I’m glad they are back in school but that is presenting it’s own challenges as well. #GRMarathon #Run4WaterWater, Let Alone Clean Water, Doesn’t Come Easy To Many
For many, even though water may be near it doesn’t mean that’s is easy or safe to get to and it still may not even be safe to drink, but it’s all they may have. Another fine Thursday training run. Had a small amount of rain but it was nice to have it keep things cool. It was awesome to hear that my running partner exceeded his $1000 #HWI fundraising goal. I still have about $250 to go to hot the $1000 mark. I’m hoping to hit $2000 this year. #GRMarathon #Run4WaterTime For New Shoes
I’ve been running on these old shoes for some time. They’ve gotten pretty badly worn and it was high time I get new ones before I injured myself. Looking forward to my first run in them.
