    Running Goals & Purpose

When I start talking with people about my running there is always the question of why I’m running and what my goals are. I’ll be honest that running just kind of happened. Don’t misunderstand, running wasn’t an accident, but rather came out of inspiration from my wife and the fact that a team of runners formed at my church. I didn’t let those feelings stop me, or use the heat and humidity as an excuse. I slowed down but kept pushing through. The same could be said when we are trying to make an impact on the world. If we let the overwhelming need minimize the significance of that one well that goes in then we risk giving up. It all starts with one. One step, one mile, one day, one village, one well. Over time that one turns into an impact that we couldn’t have even…
