  • Not Been Forgotten…But Changes Coming

    Writing a quick note that although my last post was 6 months ago I think it’s about time to make some changes. I’m not sure exactly the plan. I may just start working on bring this site up to speed and use it as my hub for both Twitter and Facebook. Some other possibilities might be to roll it into a new Family site or move it into a portfolio of work site. I’m not sure, but 1 thing is for sure that with all of the domain names and “sites” that I control I need to pay some attention to them once again…or at the very least set them up to be a launching point to my activities in the Social Media space.   • Update, Long Overdue…

    I’ve been married now for about 2.5 months. Married life has been what I hoped and more, some good and some challenging. We’ve gotten into more of a routine now, but not so much that life isn’t interesting. We’ve been trying to work on the house. A few weekends ago we put up gutters. That was an interesting job, with some challenges, but it’s all good. We’ll be doing some yard work in another few weeks. Once the grass grows back I think we’ll have a pretty nice front yard. Work has been going pretty good. The past couple of weeks I feel as though I’ve gotten nothing really accomplished, at least nothing that anyone can see.     Taking On The Wet And Windy Tuesday Run

    It was a kind of interesting morning, weather wise. There was some big thunder before 4am but when I got outside for my morning run there wasn’t much for rain, just some sprinkles and mist off-and-on. The wind came and went as well. The crazy thing once again is to see my pace improve of the course of my run. Instead of what one would normally see, where your pace might get slower over the course of a run, for me my pace got better the longer I ran. It was a good morning for a run all around. Only a few more weeks until the #RiverBank and I think I’m feeling good about my training so far. #HWI #WhyIRun #Run4Water

    Excellent Weekend…

    Well, I didn’t get a post made last night. I just got a little tired to make the post. Also, there wasn’t much that went on Saturday. I got up around 9:30 and got around to getting my remaining leaves cleaned up and taken to the dump before the rain came. I made some bread in the bread machine for the first time. The crust got a little harder and thicker than I would have preferred but it was tasty. I mostly bummed around that day. I went over to John O’s that night and watched “The Magnificent Seven” with Rud Wasson & Shawn Osborne. It was a good old western. Today I got up for the early service at church.
