Making A Way For Education Through Clean Water

All it will take is 20 people to each give $12.75 from now until the day to hit my goal and bring another 19 people clean water. https://timn.me/2Kx7NEr

What we do today has an impact on the future of the generations to come. Bringing clean water to a village in Africa can mean the difference between their children having an education or not. Clean water has long lasting effects that will change the world. What better way to invest in the future generations.

Even though my training plan called for an easy run I took the short distance as an opportunity to push myself. I could definitely feel the warmer temperature this morning. Needless to say, it took me awhile to get cooled down even after my shower.bin hope my dedication to pushing myself prompt others to step up and take part in the cause.

Knocking Out Another Monday Training Run

I really enjoy being able to just turn on the workout worship music and just run while having one-on-one time, just me and God. This morning the Rusch family was on my mind and is in my prayers. I spent 10 years working at a Christian camp and was blessed to work with some many amazing people serving and ministering to others. I am totally blown away when I hear of the trials many of them end up going through. I do still trust in God’s truth that “in this world you will have trouble, but take heart, I have overcome the world.” I can’t even imagine what it is going to be like for the Rusch family but I know that God will be…

Great Training Run With Friends This Morning

Loved being able to do a training run with other guys. 3 things happen, first you’re building relationships and community. Second you’re keeping your heart rate and pace in check as you carry on a conversation, or try to. ? And last the time and miles seem to fly by since you’re focusing less on them. So many benefits, it’s too bad life didn’t allow for all training runs to be with a running partner. [endomondowp type=’workout’ workout_id=’933214802′] Michigan, United States of America

Great Weather For An Early Morning Run For Clean Water

Even though there was a little bit of moisture this morning it was still great weather for a run. I know that right now it seems pretty outrageous to be asking people to support the clean water effort when many have lost their jobs, or are otherwise undergoing major hardships due to the coronavirus. The other global needs that existed before the pandemic hit didn’t go away so we can’t forget about them. Without access to clean water those countries are at risk because of sanitary challenges as well. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #GRMarathon #RiverBankRun Give to clean water, and I will personally match up to $500. https://timn.me/2020HWI

Running, Community, And Living With Purpose

I read this story tonight and it got me thinking about the journey I’ve been on but even more the HWI Daybreak community that I’ve been blessed to be apart of. Running has become for me something I couldn’t even have fathomed a little more than a year ago. Running for me is apart of who I am, and the relationships I’m building are a huge part of that as well. I hope that my running and my journey can be a light of Hope in the lives of people I share it with.

Setting Goals And Going After Them

Setting goals is fun and games. Going after them is another matter. Without perspiration to match your inspiration, your dream imagined will turn into a dream deferred. Chase The Lion Something that I’ve had a hard time with over the years is having clear goals to work towards. Even in my job it’s most often been a matter of just getting direction from others or meeting the immediate needs. This seems counter to my planner personality but it’s never been the short term, knowing what needs to get done, planning that has been my challenge. It’s never been a real priority for me to have goals and a plan for seeing those goals met. I think I’ve always had ideas that have come to mind…
