A Hard Journey For Water

For many in Africa the journey to gather water is a treacherous one. They may not even end up gathering clean water. The goal of is to provide sustainable and accessable clean water.

It was a wet and rainy run this morning, but I got it done. Next time it think I’ll be sure to wear my visor to keep the rain off of my glasses.

    Short Easy Tuesday Training Run

    The #Endomondo training plan called for a short easy run this morning, which really meant for a much slower pace then I ended up averaging. Of course I started out on the right track but as my running time increased so do my speed. It still felt easy, and my heart rate reflected that. The real take away is that I need to work on controlling my pace. I’m pretty sure I can’t sustain that sort of pace for a full marathon.     Running Miles For Wells And Worship

    I had to drag myself out of bed this morning. It was literally a battle of wills been my mind and body. Once I got out the door and my feet began to move things felt good. It helped to have the worship music playing and reminding me the one of the reasons #WhyIRun is to have one of one time with God, sometimes just to listen for his still small voice.     A Run Focusing On The Physical Needs Of Others

    Had a sluggish start this morning, but I pushed myself and got things improved my the end of my run. I did miss most of the rain, just got caught in some sprinkles during the last quarter mile. Most of my focus though was on those I know that have physical needs, including our Enable The Children sponsored child. It seems that the physical needs in our world almost match that of the spiritual need. And yet we see time and again that God uses those physical needs to bring people into relationship with Him. Most of need a jolt every now and then to help us remember what’s most important in this life here. #HWI #ETC #EnableTheChildren #GRMarathon #Run4Water #WhyIRun
