What is even worse is the many hand dug wells that just dry up because they don’t go down far enough. First Ice Beard Of The Winter

Despite the stormy winter weather I was able to make some decent time. Having cleats that go over my running shoes is a huge help with any sort of snow and ice I encounter. The real problem was having my running glasses getting fogged up so often from the cold wind. I enjoyed some worship music while running despite most of my focus being on the ground in front of me. I spent a little time praying for a friend’s family due to some major medical issues. God’s Timing…Not Ours

(Exodus 11:1-10) Looking again at the story of Moses being used by God to bring the Isrealites out of Egypt, we can see that things didn’t go as the people, or Moses, had hoped. God, however, had a perfect plan in mind. I’ve talked about it before, but once again I am reminded, that in all things God has a plan for us. I really like both Proverbs 19:21 and also Proverbs 16:9, they both make it very clear that even though we may have something in mind, it’s ultimately God who is in control. Well, I finaly made it up early today, and I had my time with God. What an incredible difference that makes. I feel like I got a lot accomplished today at work. I still have a pretty busy work day tomorrow but God has shown me the light. Tonight I was able to get yet another project completed. It looks like by next weeks end I should finally have my head above the water. I’m so thankful for the prayers and support I’ve gotten from people. Foggy Extended Run, Reminder, Don’t Forget The Nip Guards

It wasn’t a rainy morning but it sure was foggy. It was still good weather for a run. However, note to self, always wear nip guards on longer runs. I enjoy having the extended runs during the week as it gives me more quiet time. Getting enough sleep is the biggest problem though with the longer runs. I know that I’d probably do better with my runs if I generally got more sleep. I spent some time reflecting on my trip to Sierra Leone during my prayer time.
