A Tough Monday Training Run, But I Got It Done

When I got up to run this morning I was still feeling a stomach ache that kept me up much of the night. Needless to say, it was a tough go of it running both tired and with a stomach ache. I did manage to get it done.

    Working On A Bit of DIY Garage Door Repair

    The torsion spring winding today I ordered from Amazon arrived today so I got to work removing the old broken spring in order to measure so I could order the new one. Found some great detailed instructions on replacing and measuring the spring. Hopefully I can get the right spring ordered and get this garage door fixed so we can have out garage stall back. Doing 15 miles I needed to make sure I could get my run wrapped up by the time the HWI Team met at 7am. I got done with plenty of time to hang out with the team before things got started.     Managing A Late Start Interval Run

    This morning had an off start. After waking up and looking at the time I realized I had forgot to change my alarm the night before and I had woken up an hour late. I tried to get myself out the door as soon as I could but I knew there was no way I was going to get the 8-9 miles in that my training plan called for. On top of that it was an interval training run. I decided to just follow the intervals but cut the run short in order to get back home at a decent time. I did manage to get just shy of miles in, even though I had some tough going intervals.
