Another Interval Run That Kicked My Butt

I did get out yesterday but was caught in the rain so I didn’t get anything posted. Today was a bit farther and I attempted an interval run that kicked my butt. It wasn’t pretty, but I got my run in and finished.

    I got 11 miles in this morning even though it was raining. With being stuck inside, and at home, pretty much all the time, I was glad to get out end enjoy the end of my run in some daylight.   • Final Training Run

    A day late on posting this. Better late than never, right? It’s hard to imagine that I’m only a couple of days away from the marathon. I so appreciate this guy training with me these past many weeks. Looking forward to hitting the next milestone and crossing the finish line together.

  • Another Running Milestone…20 Miles

    I had the pleasure of running my peak 20 miles training run with this amazing community. The amount of support and encouragement that I’ve received is a huge contributor to bringing me to the 20 miles milestone today. I would have never thought a little more than a year ago I’d be training to run a marathon. Even up until the 53rd Riverbank Run 10K this past Spring I was only considering doing the half marathon. With the encouragement, and a little positive peer pressure ?, I decided to go for the full marathon. It’s been a long journey to get to today, and I’ve built some amazing friendships along the way.     Serving Others

    God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another. – 1 Peter 4:10 NLT  Sometimes I think we lose sight of how God intended for us to use our gifts. If we are using our gifts to serve others, not just the church or ministries, we are doing exactly what God has called us to do. Christ came as a servant, as an example to us how we should serve others.
