    Well, I have to say it was nice to be getting back into the swing of playing Settlers of Catan. There was only four of us tonight, verses the regular 5, but it was a good close game all around. Right off the bat I noticed I made a rather major error in the placement of my pieces that kind of did me in for winning. Work today was pretty good.     It’s been forever since I actually posted something on my blog. I’m not even sure why I’ve kept it around for so long. I guess perhaps I thought I would return again to blogging someday. What with things like Facebook there almost isn’t a reason to have your own blog anymore.     Starting The Day With God

    Whatever you’ve done and whatever you face, turn to God first, each morning. Give him your day, and then allow him to guide each step. Something that I’ve tried to stick to for years is to start my day off with having time with God. I can’t say it always happens, or that it’s always the quality time it should be.     Serving Others

    God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another. – 1 Peter 4:10 NLT  Sometimes I think we lose sight of how God intended for us to use our gifts. If we are using our gifts to serve others, not just the church or ministries, we are doing exactly what God has called us to do. Christ came as a servant, as an example to us how we should serve others.
