Forgive Me…

I wrote this some time ago. I can’t find my recording of it so looks like I may be re-recording it.

Forgive Me
Words & Music by Timothy J Nolte

V1:
Oh Lord, I had walked with You.
You guided me, You led my feet.
I let go of Your guiding hand,
And slowly drifted away.

Chorus:
Oh Lord, please forgive me.
Oh Lord, I need You in my life.
Oh Lord, please forgive me.
Oh Lord, I give to You my life.

V2:
Oh Lord, I saw Your servant work,
Your wondrous power, Your healing words.
I felt Your calling in my heart,
And I yearned to serve.

V3:
I come to You a broken man,
I fall before Your Holy throne.
In Your light I see my sinfulness,
My unworthiness to come to You.

V4:
I thank You for the saving grace,
You gave to us through Your Son.
I ask now for Your forgiveness,
To walk with You once again.

We All Need Support From Others

Today God opened my eyes to the current state of my life, and the need for the support of people who love me. It can be the most humbling thing to ask for help, I have felt that tonight. My inability to say no, and my drive to please the world, have brought me to a place where many aspects of my life have suffered. I haven’t had the time needed for quality time building relationships that count. If committed to things and let people down. I’ve let the things that I’m doing push out my time with the Lord. I felt the affects of all of this. I have two special people that love me and continue to look out for me. I’ve let…

    Is God Patient?

(Exodus 4:10-18) Interesting question, it would seem that in this passage in Exodus, that Moses wore out God’s patience. It clearly describes that God became angery with Moses when he refused to follow what God was calling him to. This doesn’t mean that God is completely impatient, however it does go to show that He will work with us for a time and perhaps arrange something entirely different to get us moving. We are stuborn people, if God simply waited on us none of His plans would come to pass I suspect. Are we choosing to live in a manner that continues to try God’s patience, or are we desiring to please Him with how we live our lives? I would hope and pray that…

    When Storms Test Your Faith

I can honestly say that both my wife and I are going through some difficult storms in our lives right now. Many days come that cause me to have no option but to trust that God has it handled even though I feel like things are out of control and falling down all around me. I can say that I have still seen God come through, especially in the case of my Mom’s seizure, brain surgery, and recovery. I don’t know when the “other side” of all this will be seen but I know God is bigger than me.

    Friday & Traveling…

Well Friday was a typical day. The construction on my new office is taking a little longer than originally hoped. It looks like I should be in by next Wednesday, the server equipment will have to wait until next Friday. I had to take an early lunch break so I could be home while they fixed my internet. It ended up being some problem with the signal coming from the poll. Basically I ended up eating my lunch while I continued working at my desk. I took off early to head to Brainerd for the evening, to say a final goodbye to my brother. He was shipped out at about 1am Saturday. I didn’t stay to actually see him off as I wanted to get…
  • Office Construction Underway & Wasting Time…

Ok, so of course as soon as I get into work this morning, Monday, I get people telling me that can’t log into the network. Well, I knew there has been some power blips at my house over the weekend, and the servers we’re up and running, so I just power-cycled the two switches between the servers and the rest of the network. Everything came back online, yeah! I’m hoping this setup lasts us through the week. We got the rest of everything moved out of the server room so that the could begin the construction. By lunch they had the wall out and had started cutting the hole for the window. I’m thinking I should be in my new office by next week. This…
