    So this morning was A LOT early than I was planning on getting up. Darn dog decided to take a dump in my room. I think I’m going to have to borrow the carpet shampooer from my parents this weekend. Had to clean that all up, I still think I’m smelling that dog poo stench, and I’m not even in the room (I’m downstairs, in the Living Room). Well just thought I’d share that…ugh…I feel sick.     Expectations, Communication…When Life Gets Too Busy

    Well I got a rather unfortunate email today. I’ve basically been let go for the website project I was working on. The truth of the matter is there were things that myself and the company that hired me didn’t do very well. I kind of feel a little frustrated as I thought I made myself very clear how busy my schedule was before they agreed to hire me. Apparently I didn’t do a good enough job. It would also seem as though they really didn’t read the contract before they agreed to it. It clearly states what I was expecting. I guess I’m fine with not having to worry about it any more however, I just feel as though they could have done a better…

    It’s The Abominable Snowman!

    Let’s just say it was a little cold outside. I still don’t understand why people, and businesses, and churches couldn’t have their sidewalks clear by now. For those that got them cleared you are a blessing to us runners. I made the mistake of using my CamelBak again. The line froze again at about mile 3-4. I need to figure out something better, maybe the best I can do is water bottles when it’s this cold and just conserve. I can say that until now it’s been pretty great weather for runners in the winter. I take days like this as just another way to prepare for anything come the Groundhog Day Marathon. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #GRGus

    In The Beginning

    (John 1:1-14) – John starts out describing a little about what the beginning was like. The Word was another name given to Jesus. It’s interesting that John starts out this way. It is very clear that the importance is placed on this description to setup the rest of the book. Jesus claimed he was God, was equal with God. The very fact that he also had the name of the Word and that these verses explain exactly was Jesus claimed is not insignificant. Jesus Christ always was and is equal to God the Father & God the Holy Spirit. John 1:12, this is a very popular verse.   • Office Construction Underway & Wasting Time…

    Ok, so of course as soon as I get into work this morning, Monday, I get people telling me that can’t log into the network. Well, I knew there has been some power blips at my house over the weekend, and the servers we’re up and running, so I just power-cycled the two switches between the servers and the rest of the network. Everything came back online, yeah! I’m hoping this setup lasts us through the week. We got the rest of everything moved out of the server room so that the could begin the construction. By lunch they had the wall out and had started cutting the hole for the window. I’m thinking I should be in my new office by next week. This…

  • Quick For Now…Best Birthday Ever!

    So, before I hit the sack. I just have to thank the most amazing women in the world [Vanessa ;-)] for the most amazing birthday ever. OK, so some of you are thinking “it’s not your birthday yet” well, we celebrated early because we’ve got our dance class on Tuesday. Today was an awesome day! Vanessa gave me a season of Seinfeld on DVD and a disc golf bag. She took me out for dinner at a great place called Rose’s on Reeds Lake, and we had some wood-fired pizza, it was excellent. After dinner we headed over to a theatre to see an improv group (River City Improv). We had a load of laughs. Well, I’ll have to get into more later. I don’t…
