Managing A Late Start Interval Run
This morning had an off start. After waking up and looking at the time I realized I had forgot to change my alarm the night before and I had woken up an hour late. I tried to get myself out the door as soon as I could but I knew there was no way I was going to get the 8-9 miles in that my training plan called for. On top of that it was an interval training run. I decided to just follow the intervals but cut the run short in order to get back home at a decent time. I did manage to get just shy of miles in, even though I had some tough going intervals. Another fine Thursday training run. Had a small amount of rain but it was nice to have it keep things cool. It was awesome to hear that my running partner exceeded his $1000 #HWI fundraising goal.
