I am beyond blessed with an amazing wife. It’s going to be a long 10 days without Vanessa when she heads to #Africa with the World Hope Daybreak team.
In this age of a mostly self-centered take on life, Jesus modeled a radically different way to live. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.” – Matthew 20:28 NLT
Sticking to the #Endomondo training plan meant getting up before 4am to get 13 miles of running in before my wife needed to leave the house by 6:15. More specifically, a Christian is not someone that just believes in Him, it is also someone that is His follower. Jesus asked that we pick up our cross and follow Him. He is asking us to take the hard road with Him. We can have confidence in knowing that He is right…
For me this is constantly something that is on my mind. I’m always asking myself how my actions are modeling for my kids how God is leading me. I don’t always do a good job I that. Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it. – Proverbs 22:6 NLT
