God Doesn’t Change And Always Follows Through On His Promises

After getting through about half of my run in this morning I could tell that the second half was going to be a struggle. Over the past year, even though I haven’t stopped running, my running wasn’t always as consistent and my diet has been all over the map. These two things of course have made a significant impact on my running. I don’t know to what degree all of the craziness that has gone on this past year has been a major instigator of my downfall, but I’m sure it has attributed to it. I need to do better. With my wife out of town I can’t be leaving the kids home alone, this means the treadmill it is. I think this is the first time I’ve been on the treadmill probably in the last 8-10 months. I literally can’t remember the last time I had to use it. For times like these I’m glad we have it or there would be no running. Since the treadmill required significantly less thought, except for changing the speed during the short interval run segment, it gave me ample time to think about the Sierra Leone team and trip.
