That’s right, there is a woman out there (Vanessa 😉 ) that would have me. 😀 We had an amazing day together, during our dinner I popped the question. It’s way late now so I’m not going to stay up to give all of the details, I’ll give the skinny tomorrow sometime. I can’t wait for you all to meet my fiancee!

About Time For A Post…

Of course it has been awhile since my last post. It seems that blog world is a bit of a roller coaster ride. These days it just seems like the time runs short or there is just too much to mention for the time I have. Well, enough of that for now. So what have I been up to? Office Construction Underway & Wasting Time…

Ok, so of course as soon as I get into work this morning, Monday, I get people telling me that can’t log into the network. Well, I knew there has been some power blips at my house over the weekend, and the servers we’re up and running, so I just power-cycled the two switches between the servers and the rest of the network. Everything came back online, yeah! I’m hoping this setup lasts us through the week. We got the rest of everything moved out of the server room so that the could begin the construction. Something to Ponder…

Devotions this morning says, as Christians, we should not be thinking “I can’t”, at least in following God’s direction. This is so very true, Jesus pointed out what little faith we have, and how little faith it takes to even move a mountain. I think of the times I have thought, “I just can’t do this”, because of circumstances in my life. Shame on me if I’m failing to follow God’s leading. The Keyword is “Since” Not “If”

As a follow up to my previous post it’s important that we remember that everything we are called to do as a Christ follower is in the context of “since” and not “if”. What’s the difference? If we have the thinking, “if someone is doing ‘x’, or not doing ‘y’, they can’t be a believer”, we are basically inferring that someone has no faith or belief in Christ because of their actions. That’s a pretty big leap, and a sure fire way to further the view that Christians are righteous, judgemental, hippacrits, essentially modern day Pharisees. Friday & Traveling…

Well Friday was a typical day. The construction on my new office is taking a little longer than originally hoped. It looks like I should be in by next Wednesday, the server equipment will have to wait until next Friday. I had to take an early lunch break so I could be home while they fixed my internet. It ended up being some problem with the signal coming from the poll. Basically I ended up eating my lunch while I continued working at my desk. God’s Amazing Work

So I know that I haven’t been so good about keeping up my blog posts on a regular basis. It’s kind of amazing how even when life seems to settle down you don’t have time foe some of the simple things.
