    A Nice Sunny Saturday Run

It was nice to get out just when the sun first came up for my Saturday run, and the temperature was just right too. It’s not too often I get to run in the daylight. There was a bit more people out at that time, than my normal 4-5am, so I had to switch sides of the street I was running on a couple of times. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun Even though things seems tough at times with what we are dealing with I still don’t see it being as nearly as tough as what many in Sierra Leone face every day. In Sierra Leone there are few that could be working from home.

    Changing Focus And Changing Pace

I expected to have a better overall average time given my training plan had me doing high intensity sprints. It’s OK though as my times were faster than my plan actually called for. The 2nd half of my run was really a little bit of a wake up call on where my focus has been lately. Better Together Devotional God calls us to the #mission of sharing the Good News, but He doesn’t require us to do it all by ourselves. God gives us #community to share in the mission. “Above all, you must live as citizens of heaven, conducting yourselves in a manner worthy of the Good News about Christ. Then, whether I come and see you again or only hear about you, I will know that you are standing together with one spirit and one purpose, fighting…

Back At It, Starting The Riverbank Run Training

I took about a week break for recovery after the Groundhog Marathon. Normally I’d start a reverse training following a marathon, but with only 3 months to go before the Riverbank Run I really couldn’t afford the time in order to get a good amount of training in. With some new shoes, and a fresh coat of snow, it felt good to be back out there stopping on the pavement. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #RBR
