Another Day of Wireless…

Well, today I was working a lot with tweaking the wireless setup on the laptops. I was able to get them to authenticate and login to the domain all wirelessly. Only problem is this was through the IBM ThinkPad wireless configuration tool. I need to figure out how to configure this via straight Windows XP. Then the next step is can a Mac do this? Phil is connected via wireless in his iMac. And it would be good if it could do the same thing. More Googling and research.

    Not To Be Concerned…

    I want to thank those of you that expressed concern for me because of my protected post. It’s so amazing to know that there are so many people that care about how I’m doing. I want to assure you all that things are simply amazing right now. I know that most of you don’t really know Vanessa, but I hope that you will get to meet her some day, but for me she is the most amazing woman I know.     Youth Group Kickoff…

    Well, today work was pretty normal. Nothing too special. We had the youth group kickoff and things seemed to go pretty well. I got over to the church about 5:15 or so to get the sound system & projection equipment all setup. I worked on fine tuning OpenSong a little during break at work and then finished up with adding some announcements Andrew had. Maralee was willing to run presentation. My only problem with OpenSong thus far is that it has slow transitions. I still think it’s a pretty good tool for free on the Mac. We had a good intro meeting as small group leaders.     God’s Amazing Work

    So I know that I haven’t been so good about keeping up my blog posts on a regular basis. It’s kind of amazing how even when life seems to settle down you don’t have time foe some of the simple things. I guess one issue I’ve been facing lately is not being able to get to sleep early, and getting up early. It just has kind of thrown things off a bit.     Katrina Victims, In Our Prayers…

    I was listening to a Podcast yesterday on my way to my parents(surprise..lol), and one comment that was made on there was how the online blog community hasn’t been as active, concerning the Katrina victims, as they were after the tsunami hit South Asia. I was working on my blog, man I’ve been working a lot on it lately, and saw TWiT’s support right on their homepage. Now I know very few people will be visiting my site, most don’t even know about it, but I wanted people that do visit to know, that as a proud member of the blog community, I too am concerned with the tragedy down south.     Everything In It’s Time

    For me as a Christian, it seems that one of the things I struggle with most is leaving things in God’s hands. I don’t know if part of my struggle is because I’m a man, and I feel the uncontrollable urge to fix things and have eveything planned out. When I don’t know God’s plan, and how can any of us know it really, I realize I fall into the sin of worry. I think it’s probably the worst when I truly desire to leave my life in God’s hands and trust in His plans for it.
