Well, I’m going to try to tackle a big catch-up. I’ve got some dishes calling me, but afterwards, the blogging continues. Yeah so I’m been a little lax in the blog-o-sphere.     Great IM Converstations…

    I had some excellent IM conversations tonight. Was talking with Ginny and catching up to what their family has been up to. Sounds like Jim is getting steady business. He’s been doing a lot of work for Wells Fargo. And the home schooling has been going good too. We ended up talking about relationship stuff. This was partly due to the fact that I brought up the subject.

    A Post, A Post, At Last A Post

    So what have we been up to, well when I say we I mean me. So life has been a little crazy this past week, although I don’t expect it to calm down anytime soon. I’ve got a lot of things to do by this weekend. I’ve got a load of photos to scan and some more video to import. I don’t think I’ll be getting the Cantata CD’s done by Christmas, oh well. Ok I guess I’m getting a little ahead of myself. How about we go back to last week. So my last post was Wednesday. That night was youth group and the whole youth praise team was there to lead music. We were even able to get everything setup in the fellowship…

    What Have I Gotten Myself Into…?

    OK, let’s recap the day first. Got up at 5:30 this morning. Had some good time before work. I still really feel getting up at 5:00 would be better, I just can’t get to bed very early, grrr. Work was good today. I feel like I’m finally getting caught up with stuff. Yes! That’ll probably jinks it, LOL. I’m finding that I’m going to have to do some research to find a better system for the free church websites we’re providing. I might have to do something custom, so long as it’s easy to use. Overall a good day. It was nice to have some extra time today before youth praise team practice. The practice went pretty well. Some of the songs are new so…

  • Only A Weekly Post It Would Seem?

    So what takes up so much of Mr. Tim’s time that he cane only find the time once a week to post on his bloody blog? That’s a good question. While it would seem that in an effort to simplify my I’ve managed to make it slightly bit more complicated. What is the one greatest thing that can complicate a man’s life? Take a guess, and I’ll only give you one try. A woman always complicates life, and yes that has what’s complicated mine. And you know what, I say bring on the complication and piles of it!     Mercy and Grace in Relationships

    “When we allow God’s love and mercy to flow through us to our spouse, we will find less conflict, more grace, quicker forgiveness and much more delight at home.” I know that too often, I jump to conclusions and assumptions instead of giving people, especially my wife, the benefit of the doubt. This an area that has produced far more conflict then it could have had I just executed a little grace and mercy first. We have a God that shows us far more grace, love, and mercy than we deserve. So it really goes without question that we need to attempt to do b the same in our relationships, especially with our spouse.

    Thankful During The Storms

    It’s easy to be thankful when things are going good, even though I think we forget to be. It’s an even greater challenge to be thankful in the storms of life. If we would only take time to be be thankful, and to show appreciation for others, lifr would look very different I suspect. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. – 1 Thessalonians 5:18 NLT
