Well, I’m going to try to tackle a big catch-up. I’ve got some dishes calling me, but afterwards, the blogging continues. Yeah so I’m been a little lax in the blog-o-sphere. Trying to get myself back in the groove of everything. Be back soon…Oh, I’ve got some new Christmas photos in the gallery…at least they are in the progess of uploading…

    The Time Has Come…

    Well, for those that have long awaited a post to thie fabulous blog, here we go. This will probably be a short one. So much has been going on since my last post, actually a lot happened through December that I didn’t even get time to write about. I’m really looking forward to life settling down a bit. The first day of youth group begins tomorrow, and we had are first youth praise team meeting today, since Christmas that is. Tonight we just came up with a list of songs we want to do this winter/spring. I’ll be putting together the set lists and get them all the songs. I’ve even created a schedule that will be available online as well. I’m looking forward to…

  • Ugh…It’s 4:11 am…What’s That Smell

    So this morning was A LOT early than I was planning on getting up. Darn dog decided to take a dump in my room. I think I’m going to have to borrow the carpet shampooer from my parents this weekend. Had to clean that all up, I still think I’m smelling that dog poo stench, and I’m not even in the room (I’m downstairs, in the Living Room). Well just thought I’d share that…ugh…I feel sick. Pets, sometimes you love ’em, sometimes you don’t.

    Everything In It’s Time

    For me as a Christian, it seems that one of the things I struggle with most is leaving things in God’s hands. I don’t know if part of my struggle is because I’m a man, and I feel the uncontrollable urge to fix things and have eveything planned out. When I don’t know God’s plan, and how can any of us know it really, I realize I fall into the sin of worry. I think it’s probably the worst when I truly desire to leave my life in God’s hands and trust in His plans for it. It think we too, I know I do, fail in having the secret desire of want God’s will for our lives to be what we desire. Above all,…

    God’s Plans, My Hope

    For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord . “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. – Jeremiah 29:11 NLT I know there will be good days and not so good days. There will be times that the future seems uncertain. Despite how things may seem I know that God has my future in mind and I can rest and rely on that hope.
