Taking A Moment To Update…
Well, fine folks who have been patiently, or impatiently, been waiting for my next real post. I’m taking this time I have during lunch to give a little recap of what’s been going on in my life. I’ve been working to reduce the stress in my life and not take on anymore work. The only problem with this, it gives me time to fill. What have I decided to do with this free time, start a podcast. Thanks guys for the encouragement & support. The reality is that not really any of the advice items you’ve said is something I didn’t already know, or haven’t told myself like a hundred times. This is why I had to get it all out in the open. I just need a lot of prayer in this area of my life. Like I said at the end this is something I’m needed to take to God everday. I want to thank those of you that expressed concern for me because of my protected post. It’s so amazing to know that there are so many people that care about how I’m doing. I want to assure you all that things are simply amazing right now. I know that most of you don’t really know Vanessa, but I hope that you will get to meet her some day, but for me she is the most amazing woman I know. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think of her and feel so completely blessed by God for how He brought us together. She has an amazing way of always making my days brighter. Already Missing My Wife
Glad I got the lawn mowed this afternoon before the rain rolled in. Going to try and keep on top of everything while Vanessa is gone to Africa this week. As we were praying before supper tonight reality hit me that she is gone. I’ll be honest, I almost lost it as we were praying for her and the trip. Give us this day our daily bread…” As I read these words and the pages that went with them, in “The Passionate Life”, it was pretty obvious God was speaking to me concerning my evening. The Time Has Come…
Well, for those that have long awaited a post to thie fabulous blog, here we go. This will probably be a short one. So much has been going on since my last post, actually a lot happened through December that I didn’t even get time to write about. I’m really looking forward to life settling down a bit. The first day of youth group begins tomorrow, and we had are first youth praise team meeting today, since Christmas that is. Tonight we just came up with a list of songs we want to do this winter/spring. I’ll be putting together the set lists and get them all the songs.
