Monday Running With High Winds And Snowy Footing
It was supposed to be an easy run but with the wind and snowy walkways it was pretty tough out there this morning. #HWI #Run4Water #GroundhogMarathon #Garmin #Running
First “Long Run” of 2021
Started of this new year with a 10K Saturday “long run”, as my training plan called it. It was a tough run. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #RiverBankRun #Hello2021 #NewYear I can tell that this past year has taken a toll on my health. Unfortunately I’m a stress eater. I think food has always been something that I’ve used to feel good. Of course, when you live a pretty sedentary lifestyle, that causes weight gain and I struggled with that for many years. I haven’t gained all of the weight back that I lost a few years ago, staying active and running has helped with that. However, my eating habits this past year started to regress. An 8 Mile Tuesday For Clean Water
In a time when many of us are stuck in our homes I’m glad to still be able to get out and run. I could definitely tell things were quieter than normal when I was finishing up my run. I am glad to know that, so far, no cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Sierra Leone. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun

Still Running, Starting A New Plan
I have still been running but just haven’t taken the time to post about them. I ran 13.1 miles last Saturday and around 7 Miles on Tuesday, I did take a break Monday in order to get some extra sleep after a late night. This morning I had another interval training run this morning that kicked my but, however I still ended with more miles then estimated so I it was not all bad. I had actually started a new training plan since my 15K at the River Bank Run isn’t happen. No sense in building up my distance when there isn’t actually a race to run. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun
Slowing Down To Speed Up, Monday Run On The Dreadmill
In 5 weeks I’ll be running my 5th marathon and representing #HWI and spreading the message for the need of clean water in Africa. #Run4Water #WhyIRun #GRGus With such a short time for training making sure I’m following the plan is really going to be key to finishing well. In that light I took advantage of the treadmill today and set the speed to the slow pace today called for. Deciding to run on the dreadmill(treadmill) didn’t come easy but with the weather being rain & wind with a potential for snow, I decided it was best. Support Clean Water: https://timn.me/2Kx7NEr

Great perspective! Have not thought of authority in that way, but so true.
