Computer Upgrades on Order…

Well today I bit the bullet and ordered some upgrades for my laptop. I’m getting a 1GB stick of RAM & a 100GB hard drive. Home Missions is going to buy the 512MB stick of memory that is currently in my laptop. I figured that I best do this now while I have the money, and a way to sell the 512MB stick. With having the digital camera now and getting more website jobs I need the storage space too, I’ve only got like 6GB free right now. So sometime next week I should have everything in the machine. Well, back to work I go.

    Well, I know that I haven’t posted in awhile. Married life has changed things quite a bit for me, altough I know that even before being married I was lacking in the post, oops. Just some quick updates. Photos from the wedding are available (http://photos.noltefamily.org/), hopefully we’ll get some honeymoon photos posted soon. The honeymoon was amazing and life now is beginning to find some normalcy. I’m loving being married, especially to have a wife as amazing as Vanessa. We had such a great evening together last night!     Is God Patient?

    (Exodus 4:10-18) Interesting question, it would seem that in this passage in Exodus, that Moses wore out God’s patience. It clearly describes that God became angery with Moses when he refused to follow what God was calling him to. This doesn’t mean that God is completely impatient, however it does go to show that He will work with us for a time and perhaps arrange something entirely different to get us moving. We are stuborn people, if God simply waited on us none of His plans would come to pass I suspect. Are we choosing to live in a manner that continues to try God’s patience, or are we desiring to please Him with how we live our lives? I would hope and pray that…

    Playing A Little Catch-Up…Busy Days

    So I didn’t get a post in on Monday, and I really need to be getting to bed now. LOL, just as I explained to Crowser, I get to a point at night and then I’m wide awake. If I would have went to bed at like 9 or 10 when I was tired I’d be fine but nope. Anyways… So Monday was a pretty good day. My friend Chad was in town for a meeting so we went out for lunch.     Another Good Day…But I’m Tired

    Ok, I’m straining to keep my eyes open here. I’m going to have to make this a quick one if I can. I got up this morning only to find I was out of grits. Yeah you heard that right grits. I’ve gotten on this grits kick. It’s pretty much like Malto-Meal [edit (11-12-05): grr, look what happens when you’re half asleep and blogging. It shouldn’t have been Malto-Meal but Cream of Wheat] which I’ve like for as long as I can remember. So I snagged a leftover roll at work when I got there this morning.     Have I Forgotten?

    I know that morning will come too soon, I’ve got to be to work by 5am, but once again I find myself searching. I love how God is always tugging at me and wanting to stretch, and most of all asking me to continue on the path towards Him. Something that has been pulling at me for the past month is my concern that I’ve began living my life for myself. I struggle with Paul’s warning against getting married, and I can see already how my life is about to change. I will no longer have the freedom I once did to serve God and think of nothing else.
